The coming ICPMB conference aims to bring together researchers who study mitochondrial genomics, genetics and biochemistry, with a focus on plants.
The topics to be covered during the meeting include (but will not be restricted to) ‘mitochondria and the beginning of life’, ‘mitochondrial inheritance’, ‘mitochondria genome structures’, ‘respiratory-mediated functions’, ‘respiration and fitness’, ‘regulatory coordination between the mitochondrion and the nucleus (or plastids)’, ‘regulation of organellar gene expression’, mitochondrial ‘ROS’ and ‘mitophagy’.
