The electron microscopy facility provides services, equipment, expertise and support to researchers in the fields of life sciences, materials science, medicine and nanotechnology.
Services include:
- Preparation of biological samples: fixation, cutting, staining, observation and documentation of the results.
- Immuno-electron microscopy using pre-embedding and post-embedding methods.
- Negative staining.
- Preparation and cutting of non-biological materials for researchers from the Institutes of Chemistry and Physics.
