Meytal won the scholarship for her work in biochemistry, where she has studied the relationship between cellular oxidation and aging on the protein level.
Meytal is set to do her postdoctoral research in the lab of Prof. Tanja Kortemme at the University of California San Francisco, there she will study the regulation mechanisms behind GTPase signaling switches.
