The ECFS Award is given annually to honour a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the basic understanding of cystic fibrosis or to the treatment or care of patients with cystic fibrosis.
The 2009 ECFS Award was jointly presented to Prof. Lap Chee Tsui, Prof. Batsheva Kerem, Prof. Francis Collins and Prof. John Riordan - 20 Years of CFTR Gene Discovery.
